Joven Pasos
Also known as Light Foot, is a unique play that combines elements of literature, performance, and language. Set in a world where stories are forgotten, our play follows a young girl's journey to discover the importance of storytelling. Our production, which is performed in both English and Spanish, is a powerful exploration of how to tell a story and the impact it can have on our lives.
Cuando se Apaga La Luz
A story of courage, resilience and faith. It tells the story of Nubia Mendoza, a Colombian woman who decides to migrate to the USA in search of a better life for her. Throughout the play, she is confronted with the clash between the 1960s rock of The Doors and the Christian values that she grew up with. The play is both humorous and serious, reflecting the struggles and the courage it takes to start a new life in a foreign country.
Be Part:
Be Part, as a doble meaning integrates our work with others as the sharing of our reasearch with others. Our work dynamic has been related to other groups and other artists. However, what guarantees the common thread in the staging has been the dramatic structure. The Dramaturgy of the Teatro Antropológico de los Andes starts from ethnographic research and develops from researched and applied literary elements, weaving both a creative text and the production of academic texts. Our dramaturgy is a fabric that integrates space and rhythm, guided by a text that allows all the variety of the scene. This literary element involves the complexity of our playwright.
